Food Resources Are Available

We understand that more families may be experiencing food insecurity now, due to the loss of SNAP benefits or other factors.
The Albany School Food Project, (AUSD Food Service) lists free food banks and food pantries on their home page, as well as resources for food assistance under the Assistance Program tab.
The next date for our food pantry, sponsored by the Berkeley Food Network, is Friday, November 7th from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. The food pantry will be held at the Albany High School multi-purpose room at 603 Key Route Blvd. All are welcome. The entrance will be through the double-door hallway on Key Route Blvd. As a reminder, school is still in session during the food pantry event.
Free breakfasts and lunches continue to be served to all AUSD students Monday–Friday at each school.
