Instructional Leadership Teams Build Momentum for the 2026–27 School Year

On Tuesday, June 9, Albany Unified’s principals, assistant principals, teacher leaders, and district leaders came together for our annual All-ILT Retreat. The day provided an opportunity to reflect on what is working well across our schools, identify what students need most from us moving forward, and strengthen our shared commitment to instructional leadership, student belonging, and academic success. Through collaboration and thoughtful discussion, leaders worked together to build on this year’s successes and establish priorities that will guide our work in the coming year. 

We look forward to carrying this momentum into the 2026–27 school year as we continue creating engaging, inclusive, and high-quality learning experiences for every student.
