Marin School Age Programs: Magnolias and Tupelo
Magnolias and Tupelo Program Description
Located at Marin School, Magnolias and Tupelo serve children from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade, offering quality school-age care before and after the elementary school day. These programs provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment dedicated to promoting, supporting, and enhancing all areas of a child’s development. Our goal is to offer a balanced mix of educational, social, and recreational opportunities to create an enriching and enjoyable experience for the children in our care.
In the afternoon, all children enrolled participate in a Spanish Enrichment program conducted by a native Spanish-speaking teacher. This program is based on extensive, research-proven methodologies and approaches to second language acquisition. Children learn Spanish through engaging activities such as music, stories, games, movement, and outdoor activities, all within a fun and meaningful learning environment. The Spanish curriculum is organized into thematic units, allowing children to explore basic vocabulary, expressions, and commands through meaningful interactions and enjoyable communicative activities.
