Albany Children's Center Monthly Newsletter - June 2024
Dear Albany Children's Center Families,
We hope this newsletter finds you well as we transition into the sunny days of June. Here are some important updates and reminders for the month ahead:
- Juneteenth Holiday Closure: Please note that Albany Children's Center will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth. There will be no services held on this day.
- Parent and Teachers Together (PATT) Meeting: There will be no PATT meeting scheduled for the month of June. We look forward to reconvening these meetings in the future and appreciate your continued support.
- Summer Weather Recommendations: As the weather warms up, it's essential to ensure your child's comfort and safety. Please remember to send your child to the center with a labeled water bottle and a hat to protect them from the sun and dehydration. Additionally, we kindly ask that open-toed shoes are not worn to the center for safety reasons.
- Vacation Plans and Schedule Changes: If you have any vacation plans or anticipate changes to your child's schedule, please inform the classroom teacher in advance. This helps us ensure smooth transitions and proper planning.
- End of Year Reminders: August 2nd marks the last day for students who will not be returning for the following year. This includes students who are graduating to TK or kindergarten. We cherish the time we've spent with each child and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
