Dear AUSD Community,
The Albany Unified School District Board of Education will hold its first meeting of the 2025–26 school year on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Albany City Hall (1000 San Pablo Avenue).
Please note that Open Session will begin at 6:00 PM, and Closed Session will now take place at the end of each meeting, allowing for greater opportunities for public participation.
All are welcome to attend in person. In alignment with Board Bylaws and the California Education Code, public comment will be invited during designated times on the agenda.
As we return to fully in-person meetings, Zoom access will no longer be available. We recognize that virtual participation was a valuable tool during the pandemic, and we remain committed to accessibility and transparency. All regular Board meetings will continue to be broadcast live and recorded on the City of Albany’s YouTube Channel-KALB for convenient on-demand viewing.
Introducing Our New Online Portal
We’re also pleased to announce the launch of the AUSD Board of Education Online Portal, a centralized platform for accessing board meeting agendas, policies, and governance materials to help our community stay informed and engaged.
While the new portal is live, we are still transitioning archived content. Agendas, minutes, and materials from prior meetings have not yet been migrated but can be accessed via the links listed below:
- Past Meeting Agendas & Minutes (Archives):
- Search Archived Meetings in Table on current website: here
- Or in the shared drive here: Meeting Archives by year
- Video Archives: (if available): Click the video icon below or visit City of Albany's YouTube page: YouTube.com/AlbanyKALB.
