We are happy to announce that Albany Children’s Center received a Tier 5 rating (5 stars). This rating indicates that Albany Unified School District’s preschool program located at 720 Jackson Street in Albany, CA, has a “high quality program.”
Previously, Albany Children’s Center (ACC) had a 4-star rating with a score of 27, out of a possible 35. ACC was re-rated over the summer of 2018. The re-rating process brought ACC up a 5-star rating with a score of 34, out of a possible 35. This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the staff members at Albany Children’s Center.
It is important to note that this 5-star rating is difficult to earn and is rarely given out to preschool programs. In fact, Albany Children’s Center joins a very small number of 5-star preschools in Alameda County.
