At the April 14, 2020 Board of Education meeting, District Administrators provided information regarding the District’s responses to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and subsequent school closures.

Alameda County Superintendent of Schools, L. Karen Monroe, announced this afternoon that schools will remain closed for the rest of 2019-2020 school year. Please click the link above to read her statement. More details and information to come.

Seven Bay Area County Public Health officers, in collaboration with their County Superintendents, made a unified, regional decision to extend school closures through May 1, 2020. All AUSD facilities will remain closed to the public until May 4th.  Click to read more....
